What Is This Game?

Answer Rush is a fast ESL choice game where students steer into the correct answer lane. It reinforces quick vocabulary recognition, listening comprehension, reaction speed, and confidence with familiar lesson words.

How Students Play

1. A prompt appears

Students read, see, or hear the target vocabulary item.

2. Students choose a lane

They move left or right to steer into the lane with the correct answer.

3. Streaks build

Correct gates add points, wrong gates subtract points, and every 3-answer streak gives a bonus.

Game Modes

Solo

Answer Rush is single-player only. Best for fast individual turns, tutoring, and rotating students through quick review attempts.

Difficulty Levels

Easy

Gate speed starts at 3.0 and ramps toward 4.8, giving beginners more time to read and move.

Medium

Gate speed starts at 4.0 and ramps toward 5.9, making answer selection more reactive.

Hard

Gate speed starts at 5.1 and ramps toward 7.2, best for confident learners and quick review races.
