Survival and whole-class choices for projector classroom review.

What Is This Game?

Crowd Clash is a whole-class ESL movement quiz. Students answer by moving into large answer zones together, so teachers can turn vocabulary review, listening checks, and classroom warmups into a fast group activity.

How Students Play

1. A prompt appears

The class sees or hears the target vocabulary item.

2. Students choose a zone

Students move left or right together to show their answer before the timer ends.

3. The class gets feedback

MotJAM checks the selected zone, awards points for correct choices, and shows the correct answer.

Game Modes

Survival

Recommended default. Everyone must choose the correct side; any wrong-side participation loses the round. Best for clear classroom rules and high focus.

Class Mode

The strongest class answer becomes the choice. Best for large groups, quick checks, and majority-style review.

Party Jam

Motion activity matters more than standing position, creating a team-vs-team party feel. Best for celebrations, end-of-class review, and energetic groups.

Difficulty Levels

Easy

4.5 second answer timer, lower confidence threshold, 80 base points, and -10 for wrong answers.

Medium

3 second answer timer, stricter commitment checks, 100 base points, and -25 for wrong answers.

Hard

2 second answer timer, highest confidence and margin requirements, 140 base points, and -40 for wrong answers.
