Privacy Policy

This policy explains what MotJAM collects, how classroom camera access works, and which service providers help operate the product.

Information we collect

MotJAM may collect account information such as your email address, name if provided, login/session information, and basic settings needed to operate your teacher account. If classroom feedback, votes, quiz responses, or game results are submitted, those records may be stored to support the classroom experience.

Teacher and student data

MotJAM does not sell teacher or student data. Classroom information is used to operate the product, support teacher accounts, improve classroom reliability, and handle support or billing requests.

Payments

Payments are handled by Paddle. MotJAM does not store full payment card details. Paddle may process payment information, tax information, invoices, subscriptions, refunds, and related billing records according to its own policies.

Camera and motion tracking

MotJAM uses the device camera locally in the browser for motion tracking during gameplay. Camera access helps detect movement for classroom games. No classroom video is intentionally stored by MotJAM.

Service providers

MotJAM uses Supabase for authentication and database services. Paddle is used for payments and subscription billing. Resend may be used for transactional emails such as account or service messages.

How we use information

We use information to provide MotJAM, manage accounts, support subscriptions, improve classroom reliability, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and communicate service-related updates.

Data choices

You may contact us to ask about your account data, request corrections, or request deletion where available and legally appropriate. Some billing records may need to be retained by Paddle or MotJAM for tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
